As we enter the second half of the year, there is surely no shortage of movies coming out, and there will be even more in 2023. Blonde, a dramatized portrayal of the turbulent life of the ageless icon, would mark Ana De Armas as the first ever Cuban woman to represent Marilyn Monroe. This fall, the big screen will also host Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans and Olivia Wilde’s interesting drama Don’t Worry, Darling.

Blonde
Blonde, which is based on Joyce Carol Oates’s best-selling book of the same name, stars Ana De Armas as Marilyn Monroe in a retelling of her turbulent life. Blonde blurs the borders between fact and fiction to examine the growing gap between Monroe’s public and private personalities, starting with her turbulent infancy and continuing through her ascent to fame and sexual relationships. In addition to Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel, and Evan Williams, the movie is written and directed by Andrew Dominik.
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
It mocks another spoof. The film, which is a dramatized, fictitious depiction of the comedic singer’s ascent to international popularity, is directed by Eric Appel and stars Daniel Radcliffe as the eponymous weirdo. It was written by Weird Al Yankovic. The cast also features Will Forte in an undisclosed character, Quinta Brunson as Oprah Winfrey, James Preston Rogers as Hulk Hogan, and Rainn Wilson as radio host Dr. Demento.
Don’t Worry Darling
A psychological thriller set in the 1950s is called Don’t Worry Darling. Florence Pugh plays Alice, a miserable housewife, and Harry Styles plays Jack, her husband, who is keeping a dark secret. It is Olivia Wilde’s first feature since Booksmart. Is their area really as idyllic as it seems? So far, so enigmatic. Starring alongside Wilde are Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and more.
Halloween Ends
While filmmaker David Gordon Green says that Halloween Ends will be a departure from previous installments, producer Malek Akkad suggests that “the last one is going to be considerably more controlled.” “I engage people by acting in a unique way. Black Adam
The DCEU is about to be upended by Black Adam. Following Jungle Cruise, Dwayne Johnson said on working with director Jaume Collet-Serra again as follows: “We connected right away because we were all like, “OK, our goal and our North Star is the DC Universe’s power structure is about to alter.” Let’s be brave. So let’s get started. Let’s be destructive as well.”
The Justice Society of America and the antihero square off in a new trailer that made its debut at SDCC. He claims that his abilities are a curse that was “created out of wrath,” not a gift. Then, as Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate cautions him, we watch Black Adam in action as he attempts to save the Earth.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam will be the first film David O. Russell has directed since Joy in 2015. It centers on three friends who are the main suspects in a 1930s murder: a doctor, a nurse, and an attorney (Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington). Robert De Niro, Anya Taylor-Joy, Rami Malek, Chris Rock, Zoe Saldana, and Mike Myers round out the rest of the ensemble cast’s impressive list of actors.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
The difficult task for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler was figuring out how to develop a sequel after Chadwick Boseman passed away. Production and development vice president Nate Moore recently provided clarification in support of remarks made by Kevin Feige, saying, “At no point did we consider recasting, as difficult as it is narratively to figure out what to do, because that’s a large void.
Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and Martin Freeman, who are all returning, will excel in their roles. New additions to the cast include Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, who will soon be the showrunner of Disney Plus’ Ironheart, Michaela Coel as Aneka, a former leader of the Dora Milaje, and Tenoch Huerta as Namor, the underwater tyrant.
