That’s a New Taste
Ken Wieczerza of New York was enjoying his large Pizza Hut Supreme Pizza in 2011. It didn’t take long for his delight to turn to disgust. He was completely taken aback when a blood-stained bandage appeared under his teeth. The bandage, baked into the crust, appeared to have been used to cover a rather bloody wound.
He went to the media after the restaurant ignored his claims. Pizza Hub rebutted his claims in a public statement. This was cited by crisis-management firms as an example of how not to handle a situation.

Axel Sanz-Claus was in New York in 2009 when he ordered a $40 filet mignon at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel’s Bull and Bear Restaurant. He claims his mouth was filled with a used menstrual hygiene product the moment he bit into the meat. Later, a doctor at a nearby hospital confirmed his suspicions.
