Goodnight, Employers and Employees
Your employer doesn’t provide you with scheduled breaks for naps? What a tragedy! In contrast to the majority of other nations, Japan views sleeping while at work as a positive behavior.
Why? It’s not a sign of laziness; rather, it suggests that the worker must have put in a lot of effort before becoming exhausted and nodding off. A few businesses will also permit staff to take a 30-minute nap from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. “Inemuri” is the name for this established practice.
Toothy Fashion Statement
Japan was busy celebrating their love of crooked teeth when the rest of the world was stressed out about having the ideal set of “straight, or perfectly aligned teeth” and the costs that went along with them.
Yaeba, or “double tooth” caps, are becoming more popular among individuals, giving them the distinctive crooked, crowded tooth grin. Despite being an odd trend, the process is quite expensive to implement and similar to other aesthetic trends. Thankfully, the procedure can be reversed.
