Poisonous Rosary Peas
The rosary pea is a flowering plant that looks like ladybugs and belongs to the Fabaceae family of plants. Abrin, a natural poison found in the seed of Rosary pears, is abundant. Poisoning symptoms include vomiting, nausea, liver failure, convulsions, and, in many cases, an untimely death.
These poisonous little buds were discovered in a Redditor’s cooked spaghetti. We’re curious how that got in there, given that the sauce was canned. These peas are unfamiliar to the average person. The more information you have, the better.
KFC Chicken Kidney Bucket
KFC has been embroiled in a number of major food-preparation and food-safety scandals over the years. These claims are getting crazier all the time, from cockroach infestations in kitchens to serving questionable meats as chicken.
This isn’t the worst thing to come out of the KFC kitchen, though. Their large chicken buckets are a crowd-pleaser, but would the crowd be pleased if they discovered a chicken kidney in their bucket? Debatable. The intestines were so well-coated that they could pass for a regular cut of meat.
