This film seemed to have it all: hidden princesses, a mermaid, and a king who wishes to be immortal. According to Good Housekeeping, the monarch must steal the mermaid’s life power to obtain immortality, but a young woman will not allow it.
‘Turning Red’
This is one of two Pixar films this year with a weird and unusual theme. The story follows a 13-year-old girl who transforms into a massive red panda whenever she becomes very aroused. According to Screen Rant, it may sound ridiculous, but knowing Pixar, this film will be filled of lessons that even adults can learn.
‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’
Sonic returns in the sequel to the 2020 film, this time-fighting Doctor Eggman, who wants to steal Master Emerald. If you’re familiar with the Sonic video games, you’ll recognize the characters — Tails and Knuckles — who will return in this sequel.
‘DC League of Super-Pets’
While the DC world is releasing a slew of films this year, “DC League of Super-Pets,” an animated film about the pets of DC superheroes, is an outlier. According to Screen Rant, the film’s star-studded cast, which includes Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, is sure to be entertaining.
‘Lightyear’
If you enjoy the “Toy Story” series, then you will enjoy this film. According to Movie Insider, it is the genesis tale of Buzz Lightyear, the toy’s inspiration, and how he evolves into the Space Ranger we know today.

According to IMDb, the plot of “Super Mario Bros.” is a conventional video game plot in which a plumber named Mario travels alongside his brother Luigi to save a princess. A-list actors such as Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and others, including Jack Black and Seth Rogen, have been cast in the film.
