Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin, both making their feature directorial debuts, direct Dog, a 2022 American comedy-drama road film. A former Army Ranger is charged with driving a fellow ranger, who also happens to be a dog, to a deceased soldier’s funeral. During their funny voyage, the unusual pair develops a touching bond.

Turning Red

Turning Red is a computer-animated fantasy comedy film released in 2022. It follows Meilin “Mei” Lee, a 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian student who, due to a hereditary curse, transforms into a giant red panda whenever she experiences any strong emotion in Toronto, Ontario in 2002. The film began development in 2018 after Shi pitched it to Pixar in October 2017. It was inspired by Shi’s experiences growing up in Toronto. It’s the first Pixar film directed entirely by a woman, and the second with an Asian protagonist (after Up, 2009).

The Bad Guys is a computer-animated crime comedy film released in 2022, loosely based on Aaron Blabey’s children’s book series of the same name. It tells the story of a gang of criminal animals who, after being apprehended, pretend to try to reform themselves as model citizens, only for their leader to be genuinely drawn to changing his ways as a new villain hatches his own schemes. The film’s production began in 2018, and the plot was heavily influenced by crime films and anime series such as Pulp Fiction and Beastars.

In the third film of the Legally Blonde movie, Reese Witherspoon will reprise her role as Elle Woods. It follows a bank teller who discovers that he is a non-player character in a massively multiplayer online game and teams up with another player to uncover evidence that a gaming company’s CEO stole the player’s game’s source code.
